1992 - Benetton Ford B192 - Michael Schumacher - Road box version: holy grail!

This is the Benetton Ford B192 of Michael Schumacher from the 1992 season. Minichamps produced the first F1 cars in 1992. They started with a cardboard inlay with a race circuit displayed on it. There were made 6 different cars:

• Williams (Mansell + Patrese)
• Ferrari (Alesi + Capelli)
• Benetton (Schumacher + Brundle)

The Schumacher Benetton however did have a license problem. Schumachers management forced Paul's Model Art Minichamps to release the Schumacher Benetton and all later editions in a special Michael Schumacher Collection. They released it as "Edition 1". The Schumacher version with race circuit on the inlay should have never made it to the market. Only a few exist. That's why this is the holy grail for Schumacher collectors. Even more than the rare Edition #17 which also had license issues.
